What is MalkieriCon?

MalkieriCon is the first European based Wheel of Time fan convention, currently based in Manchester, UK. It is a chance for fans who cannot attend conventions in the USA to meet and share their love for all things Wheel of Time.

The convention is about YOU as fans, meeting and sharing your love for this series in many interactive and fun ways!

Is registration open? And if so, when does it close?

Registration for 2023 opens in January 2023. Follow the socials to get notified!

What are the dates and details for MalkieriCon 2023?

MalkieriCon 2023 will be held on September 9th & 10th at the Holiday Inn, 25 Aytoun St, Manchester, M1 3DT.

Will there be any activities happening on Friday 8th?

The committee is planning an informal event on the Friday night for those not arriving on Saturday which will include some early registration.

How much will it cost to attend?

Can I park at the hotel?

Regular tickets will be £75 and the T-Shirt option will be £95.

We have tried to minimise any price increase as much as possible.

Will there be a special room rate?

Yes, there will be a special room rate. This will be released along with general ticket release in January 2023.

Parking is available at NCP Chorlton Street (M1 3FY) at a discounted rate of £20 per 24hours or £10 for day use (up to 12 hours). This NCP car park is open 24 hours.

How will COVID-19 risk be safely managed at the in-person event?

All attendees will be required to follow the current COVID regulations required by law at the time of the convention.

Will there be any special guests?

The committee is working hard to book some exciting guests and these will be confirmed and announced if this is possible.

Can my children attend MalkieriCon?

MalkieriCon is an adults-only event. You must be at least 18 years old to participate.

I am interested in volunteering to help at MalkieriCon 2023. How can I register for this role?

Fantastic! There is an option to put your hand up for this when registering. This is the best way to let us know. We will then reach out to volunteers in due course with more information.
