MELAINE

A Wise One of the Aiel and a member of the Taardad clan. She is portrayed by
Salóme Gunnarsdóttir.

Melaine is one of the first Aiel we encounter in the Aiel Waste. She grants permission to first Aviendha and then Rand and Moiraine to enter the ancient city of Rhuidean. She is a dreamwalker who helps Egwene learn to control her abilities in Tel’aran‘rhiod and is present when Rand is proclaimed the car’a’carn in the season finale.
