Björn Landberg
as our guest of honour.

guest of ji!
Björn Landberg is a German actor, voice actor, musical singer, pop singer and speaker. Among The Wheel of Time fandom he is best known for portraying Rhuarc, clan chief of the Taardad Aiel, in season 3 of the television show.
However, Björn has many diverse talents besides being a much beloved clan chief. He studied acting and singing at International Network of Actors in Berlin, and at Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in NYC, while also taking courses in stage combat.
Among other productions, besides WoT, Björn has starred in the german soap opera Unter uns and the independent feature film Sick New World. His voice acting includes german dubbings of several blockbusters such as X-Men: Days of Future Past, Doctor Strange, and War for the Planet of the Apes. He has also played the strong and boastful Gaston in a german musical theatre production of Beauty and the Beast.
Björn has released several music albums including Herztöne and Timeless Melodies. In 2001 Björn competed in the german national final of the Eurovision Song Contest with the song Playin' on My Mind. He also produces the podcast Bett am Strand – Einschlafen zu Reisegeschichten (Bed on the Beach – Falling Asleep to Travel Stories).
Björn's other skills include, but are not limited to: playing the trumpet, slacklining, water skiing (not very Aiel!) and driving a motorcycle.
